BITS; organized by Ananda College ICT Society is the first ever school task-based ICT competition in Sri Lanka. This is for young Anandians who are in grade 6 to 11. The main objective of this competition is to find skillful young Anandians for one of the major competitions of Google; Google Code-in. Also directing other schools to the competition and improve participation from Sri Lanka in Google Code-in. This competiton provides different kind of tasks to complete. You can find a task of your favourite and then complete it, submit it, start a new task. Also there are three main events called ARDROBERRY, Still & Motion Graphics, Programmer & Game Developer. Students can take part in those competitions as an individual or a team.
Actually no ! If you're designer, you have a vast variety of tasks on designing. If you don't know to design or code, you can use our help on finding bugs and errors, deciding new improvements and you can get other competitors help. If you don't know anything, you can also start learning with us and do something. This competition is not only for programmers, it's for everyone who loves ICT.
Yes you can! First search the question in FAQ. If you couldn't find it, ask on our portal( portal.acicts.io) or you can ask on our chat room(channel) in slack. Also you can talk with us through the school ICT laboratory.
Advance tasks are more complex than simple tasks which you did untill now. You have to do much more than you did in simple tasks. There isn't a category for each task. All the tasks are made out from all three categories.
